CTech@Science Park at Yale

CTech in New Haven was our first technology incubator. Initially home to four tech companies, demand outpaced supply and CTech quickly outgrew its space and now resides at 5 Science Park at Yale.

Science Park at Yale is an ideal location for entrepreneurs. Located on the former 15-acre manufacturing site of U.S. Repeating Arms Corporation, Science Park at Yale is conveniently located within walking distance to many of New Haven’s hotspots. In addition to housing various departments from Yale University, Science Park is home to many of Connecticut’s bioscience companies. The mixed use space provides facilities for a variety of business ventures, retail and restaurants.

CTech@Science Park at Yale's founding partners each has a long tradition of contributing to Connecticut’s entrepreneurial climate.

• Connecticut Innovations, Inc. (CI) – Founded in 1989 by the State of Connecticut, CI is the State’s venture investing firm. Over its 20 plus-year history, CI has invested more than $135 million in over 95 emerging technology companies - all located right here in Connecticut.
• Yale University – Through its Office of Cooperative Research and the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute, Yale University has become a leader in technology commercialization, launching student lead ventures and catalyzing local economic development.
• LaunchCapital – Through its New Haven, Connecticut office, LaunchCapital has become an important investor in early-stage ventures. LaunchCapital focuses its investments at the seed stage for all types of businesses.
• The United Illuminating Company (UI) – Established in 1899, UI serves over 324,000 customers in the Greater New Haven and Bridgeport, Connecticut areas. UI has long been a partner with the State in promoting company formation and economic development.
• Economic Development Corporation of New Haven – Working collaboratively with the City of New Haven’s economic development team, the Economic Development Corporation has been instrumental in promoting the many assets available to businesses in New Haven.
